31 Songs Day 5.

OK now to make sure I don’t get behind lol. After Old Church Choir I thought I could maybe do something sort of up tempo-ish. I’ve decided Waterfall by Chris Tomlin would be that song.

Lyrics:

Oh God, my God I seek You
I wanna move when You move
You’re more than I could long for
I thirst for You

You’re an ocean to my soul
To my soul

Your love is like a waterfall, waterfall
Running wild and free
You hear my heart when I call, when I call
Deep calls, to deep
Your love is like a waterfall, waterfall
Raining down on me

Waterfall, waterfall

Oh God, my God I seek You
In this dry and desert land
You lead me to streams of mercy
Once again

You’re an ocean to my soul
To my soul

Your love is like a waterfall, waterfall
Running wild and free
You hear my heart when I call, when I call
Deep calls, to deep
Your love is like a waterfall, waterfall
Raining down on me

Waterfall, waterfall

It’s coming like a flood
I’m dancing in the rain
Everything I’ve done
Is covered in rivers of grace, amazing

It’s coming like a flood
I’m dancing in the rain
I lift up my hands
Your love never changes, amazing

Your love is like a waterfall, waterfall
Running wild and free
You hear my heart when I call, when I call
Deep calls, to deep
Your love is like a waterfall, waterfall
Raining down on me
Raining down on me
Raining down on me

Your love is like a waterfall, waterfall

I like this song because it makes me imagine all sorts of things related to water. Big huge endless waterfalls, deep streams, and waves crashing onto beaches etc. I’m not sure why it does this because it’s very rare that a song brings out any sort of imagery. Usually it’s a book or a passage of scripture, (or the entire book of revelations,) that does this kind of thing for me. Sometimes a detailed legal document will do it and trust me you probably don’t want to be around me when that happens lol I’m either laughing or slapping my hand against the desk in disbelief when that happens. It’s also a fun song to play really loud and dance to!
